Bartell Farm

Bartell Farm, Morgan horse breeder in Imbler, Oregon, serves Union County and northeast Oregon near La Grande. It holds membership in recognized Morgan horse associations and arranges regular health screenings for all breeding stock.

Foals grow up in open pastures and receive daily hands-on socialization to support their natural curiosity and calm disposition. Grain and forage rations are tailored to each horse’s age and workload, with free-choice access to clean water. Stalls are cleaned twice daily and horses rotate between fenced paddocks and an indoor arena, with sheltered areas under mature oaks.

Owners often comment on the balanced temperament and athletic ability of the farm’s horses, many of which go on to local trail and dressage events. Jennifer Bartell began breeding Morgan horses in 2010 and now manages a small program rooted in family tradition. She maintains detailed records and shares breed knowledge with new owners.
