Autumn Day Alpacas @ Tumblin Farms has been raising alpacas in Loomis, California since 2005, with Sabina and Donnie Karr at the helm of the operation. Situated in Placer County, the farm is about 30 miles northeast of Sacramento and carries a "Placer Grown" designation as a family farm oriented toward sustainable living.

The herd is intentionally kept small and diversified, with the program built around quality rather than volume. Fiber production is a central part of the farm's focus, and alpaca products including raw fleece, socks, scarves, hats, and gloves are crafted from the farm's own animals. The Karrs also participate in showing, which informs their selection decisions and keeps the herd competitive.
