Au Reult Sd Swissys/ Vallhunds

Au Reult SD Swissys/Vallhunds, operated by Dan Campeau in Liberty, North Carolina, has been breeding greater Swiss mountain dogs since 1990, making it one of the longer-running programs of its kind in the Southeast. The operation is situated in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, roughly an hour from Greensboro.

Over more than three decades, the program has accumulated a notable show record, including AKC Working Group wins, multiple Best of Breed awards at Westminster, over 192 conformation and performance titles, 16 Register of Merit Swissys, and several dogs ranked in the Top Ten nationally. The kennel also holds the distinction of producing the first AKC Grand Champion Bitch and the first AmBred ROM Bitch in the greater Swiss mountain dog breed.

Beyond the conformation ring, dogs from this program have earned titles in agility, obedience, carting, herding, weight pulling, and therapy work. Dan has served the breed in an organizational capacity as well — holding roles on the Health Committee, Versatility Committee, and Breeder Guideline Committee of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, and serving as a founding member of both the American Greater Swiss Breeders Association and the Blue Ridge Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Regional Club. Swedish vallhunds are also part of the kennel's program, with Dan having acquired his first vallhund in 2007 and since becoming a member of both the SE Swedish Vallhund Club and the Mid Atlantic SV Club.
