Aspen Glenn Farms

Aspen Glenn Farms is a Belgian Malinois breeder in Woodland, Washington, in Cowlitz County and the Portland area. John Halme has worked with Malinois for over 15 years and maintains American Kennel Club registration while following recommended health screening for hips, elbows and vision.

Puppies are raised in a family setting with daily socialization and supervised access to secure outdoor runs to encourage stable temperaments. Adult dogs live in a dedicated kennel adjacent to the farmhouse and receive veterinary care on a regular schedule. The farm emphasizes gentle handling and early exposure to novel sounds and surfaces.

Some graduates have competed in working dog trials and found roles as search and rescue partners. Feedback from local trainers highlights the dogs’ work ethic and adaptable nature. The kennel is active in regional obedience clubs and contributes to Belgian Malinois rescue efforts in Washington.
