Artic Luv

Artic Luv is an Alaskan malamute breeder in Acton, CA, in the Antelope Valley near Los Angeles. Its program draws on more than a decade of experience and follows american kennel club guidelines with health testing for hips, elbows and eyes. Puppies are raised in a home setting with daily socialization among family members and occasional visits from neighbors.

Adults join weekend trail hikes in the surrounding high desert to build strength and confidence. Bloodlines include dogs that have taken part in weight-pulling and carting trials, reflecting a balance of working ability and calm temperament. Each puppy receives a veterinary health exam, microchipping and begins a basic vaccination schedule before joining its new home. Litters are limited to foster a calm atmosphere and allow individual attention for feeding, grooming and early crate training. Their pups have joined families across southern California and beyond.
