Arkadas Anatolians

Arkadas Anatolians, Anatolian shepherd dogs, Orleans, VT, serves Orleans County and the Northeast Kingdom near Burlington. Owned by Eric Durand, they have been committed to preserving the breed’s guardian instincts for more than a decade and register litters with the American Kennel Club and Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America. Health screenings for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and eye conditions are conducted by certified veterinarians before parents are bred.

Puppies are raised underfoot in a family environment with early socialization, exposure to livestock sounds, and supervision in secure paddocks. A balanced diet of high-quality proteins and regular exercise helps support temperament and physical development.
