AK Countryside Farm, Pygmy goat, Rolling Prairie, Indiana, is situated in La Porte County and the Michigan City area. The operation has been committed to Pygmy goat breeding under Ashley Caldwell’s oversight, with all animals receiving routine health screenings and vaccinations in partnership with local veterinarians.

Goats live in open pastures and sheltered loafing areas, and daily handling promotes calm, sociable temperaments. From kidding season through weaning, young goats share space with adults to encourage herd bonding and proper social behavior. Kidding takes place in a dedicated outdoor area sheltered from wind, where young goats are monitored closely from birth. Herd rotations across several paddocks support pasture health and give goats space to graze and browse naturally.
