Ahart Acres

Ahart Acres raises fainting (myotonic) goats in Lebanon, Oregon, in the mid-Willamette Valley roughly 25 miles south of Salem. Run by Lisa Ohling, the operation has been producing registered myotonics since 2005, making it one of the longer-running programs of its kind in the state.

All goats from Ahart Acres are registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry, and the farm participates in both MGR and Fainting Goat Guild shows. Over the years, the herd has been developed through the intentional addition of multiple bloodlines with an eye toward overall quality. Those looking for fainting goat breeders in Oregon will find that Ahart Acres also raises various poultry alongside its goat herd.
