ACT Dorpers, Dorper sheep, Aibonito PR, in the central mountains of Puerto Rico near San Juan, raise hardy, gentle flocks. Their breeding stock undergoes routine health screening and detailed growth assessments aligned with regional best practices and industry guidelines. Flocks graze on open pasture with access to sheltered barns and are socialized from an early age under gentle handling routines. Farm visits are offered by appointment to share insights into day-to-day husbandry.

Several ewes have shown strong maternal instincts and clear adaptability through the island’s seasonal rain and heat cycles and produce healthy lambs year after year. Selection focuses on balanced traits that support sustainable small-scale farming on the island while promoting meat quality and reproductive efficiency.
