Acaramia

Acaramia has been raising ragdolls in the north central region of West Virginia, situated between Bridgeport and Morgantown, since the late 1990s. Owner Micayla Ash got her start showing ragdolls under the cattery name Emberhearth in 1999, and Acaramia was established in 2008, originally to spotlight a chocolate color line.

The program has a history in TICA competition, with cats earning champion titles and regional recognition over the years. Ragdoll cats from this cattery are TICA registered and DNA tested for both health and color. Health screening includes testing for HCM and PKD, as well as FeLV and FIV negative status, and pet kittens are altered prior to placement. The color program is broad, covering seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, fawn, flame, and tortie across all three standard patterns and lynx, drawing on imported lines.
