4T Farms

4T Farms, Dorper sheep, China Spring, TX, is located in McLennan County near Waco. Since its founding, the farm has registered its breeding stock with the Dorper Sheep Society of North America and follows recommended health screenings for parasite control and structural soundness.

The sheep graze on rotational pastures and are brought to shaded barns as weather dictates. They receive daily handling from Jeff Toledo and his family to promote even temperament and easy management. Local exhibitors select its lambs for their balanced structure and sound movement at county fairs.

The farm prioritizes grass-fed development to enhance meat quality, with lambs reaching market weight by six months under careful feeding regimes. Breeding rams are evaluated for structural soundness before joining the flock to support longevity and reproductive success. Routine hoof trimming and dental checks are performed to maintain overall hoof health and feeding efficiency.
