His herd grazes rotationally on diverse grass and clover mixes, and calves grow up in small groups under attentive care to promote early confidence. Natural salt licks and clean water sources are placed throughout the fields to keep herds hydrated and nutritionally balanced. The farm produces its own hay and uses rotational fencing to support forage diversity and soil health.
