3 Springs Farm

3 Springs Farm raises Katahdin sheep on a property in Fairmont, West Virginia, situated in Marion County in north-central West Virginia, roughly 20 miles south of Morgantown. Chuck Cienawski and Sharron Ball operate the farm, which has its roots in a 36-plus-acre parcel originally established in the mid-1970s and purchased by the current owners in 2007, with additional acreage added since then.

The farm's stated mission centers on raising animals humanely and naturally on pasture. Alongside their Katahdin sheep, the operation includes grass-fed beef cattle — among them a registered Dexter bull, Dexter-belted Galloway cows, and Angus cows — as well as Tennessee goats. All animals are pasture-raised as a guiding principle of the farm's husbandry approach.

In 2019, 3 Springs Farm received the Marion County Conservation Farmer Award from the Monongahela Conservation District, recognizing a long-term commitment to soil and water conservation through best management practices. Buyers looking for Katahdin sheep for sale in West Virginia will find the farm grounded in that same conservation ethic.
