We are mourning today with Olive. She delivered a perfect little dun Hidex heifer yesterday but for some reason she didn’t make it. Olive is a motherly mother and this has been hard for her to accept but we are giving her extra love and attention. Her baby was given the name Tanka which means “short song”. She will rest here on the farm always near us and in our hearts.
