Trinidad Olive Tarantula
Neoholothele incei
The Trinidad olive tarantula is a small, egg-laying spider that builds extensive silk over its substrate and cover. Wild-type animals are olive-brown with darker abdominal markings; the gold form is a captive color form within the same species. Provide deep enough substrate and anchored cover for retreats, fresh water and small insect prey. Individual housing simplifies monitoring; group housing requires careful attention to territories and feeding.
