Dominican Red Mountain
Morph
Dominican red mountain is the hobby name for Hispaniolan boas from the Dominican Republic, used especially for red or reddish-brown animals. The red color is a natural color phase found mostly in the eastern part of Hispaniola, within the nominate subspecies Chilabothrus striatus striatus, and it is not a separate species. Captive lines vary in how red they are, so keep the collection locality, parents and photos of each snake as it matures.
