White
White guinea fowl are a domestic color variety of helmeted guinea fowl with pure white or nearly white plumage. The pale color makes them stand out strongly against pasture and dark housing, which many keepers enjoy, but it does not change their identity as active Numida meleagris. They retain the same flocking, calling, foraging, and watchful behavior as pearl or lavender guineas.
White guineas need the same careful start as other varieties: warm brooding, secure grow-out space, and gradual training to return to a coop or protected roost. Their visibility can make predator protection especially important on open range, so night housing and cover should be taken seriously. Breeders can maintain white color by using suitable white stock, but should still select for vigor, fertility, and strong keets. They can be useful farm birds when managed for both appearance and survival.
