Terrazzo
Gene
Terrazzo is a recessive corn snake pattern gene that replaces the saddles with stripes that often break up or fade toward the tail. A snake needs two copies to show it, and a study has linked it to a change in the PMEL gene. Breeding tests show it is a different gene from Stripe, and it traces to corn snakes from the Florida Keys.
