Blue is the hobby name for a corn snake with two copies of Anerythristic and two copies of Dilute, also sold as Dilute Anery. Anerythristic removes the red and Dilute softens the remaining dark pigment into a cool gray tone. Both genes are recessive, so a Blue bred to a snake carrying neither gives normal-looking babies that carry both.
