Bumblebee Goby
Brachygobius spp.
The bumblebee goby is a small goby from lowland fresh and brackish waters of Southeast Asia, banded in yellow and black and only about 1.5 inches (4 cm) long. Fish sold under this name are mostly Brachygobius doriae or B. sabanus, which even specialists find hard to tell apart. Keep a group in a species tank with plenty of caves and cover, in hard fresh or slightly brackish water, and feed small live or frozen foods, since most ignore flakes. Males guard the eggs inside a cave.
