Kellye Marshall has been breeding Australian shepherds and miniature American shepherds in Nacogdoches, Texas since 2014, when TK Aussies got its start with a single miniature aussie named Lou. The program is family-owned and operated, with the kids actively involved alongside Kellye from the beginning.
TK Aussies produces standard, mini, and toy Australian shepherds registered with AKC and ASDR, along with AKC miniature American shepherds — a natural fit for families seeking Australian shepherd puppies in Texas across a range of sizes. Adult breeding dogs undergo genetic health testing, and each puppy receives a vet certification at six weeks along with two rounds of vaccinations before going home. Personality testing is also part of the process, used to help match each puppy to a household suited to its temperament and energy level.
Nacogdoches sits in the Piney Woods region of East Texas, roughly two hours north of Houston, giving the program a convenient reach into one of the state's most populated metro areas.
