Zena Suri Alpacas
Zena Suri Alpacas raises suri alpacas on a 78-acre ranch in Jay, Oklahoma, near the shores of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees in far northeastern Oklahoma — roughly an hour northeast of Tulsa.
Kathleen and Tom Callan run the operation with a focus on full Peruvian genetics, breeding animals across a wide range of the 22 recognized alpaca colors. The program emphasizes fine, lustrous fleece alongside easy-to-handle temperaments, and while the herd does not compete heavily on the halter show circuit, its fleece is regularly submitted to spin-offs held throughout the country.
Buyers looking for suri alpacas for sale in Oklahoma will find a herd-oriented approach here that extends beyond the sale itself. The ranch offers complimentary handling and care classes to new owners, and mentorship is part of how the Callans approach each placement. In addition to breeding animals, the farm produces suri yarn and fiber goods made from its own herd, all processed in the United States.
