Yoho's Yorkies

Yoho's Yorkies raises purebred Yorkshire terriers in Mint Hill, North Carolina, a suburb just outside Charlotte. Robin Yoho has been breeding yorkshire terriers for around 15 years, making the program one of the more established sources for yorkie puppies in the greater Charlotte area.

Puppies are raised inside the family home rather than in a kennel setting, with no crates used, giving the dogs free run of the living space from an early age. Socialization begins in the first few weeks of life, and puppies are introduced to basic potty training before they go home. Parent dogs receive regular veterinary checks, and females are seen multiple times during pregnancy to support healthy whelping.

Before leaving, every puppy is brought current on vaccinations and dewormings and cleared by a veterinarian. Puppies stay with the program until at least ten weeks of age. The breeding stock traces to champion bloodlines, and the program focuses on purebred Yorkshire terriers placed with families as companion dogs.
