X Bar 6 Miniature Cattle, owned by Ray and Kelly Anderson, raises high-quality miniature Highlands, Highparks, Belted Galloway crossbreds, and small Wagyu on our family ranch in the beautiful Lost Prairie area near Marion, Montana—one of Montana's hidden treasures.
As third-generation ranchers, we bring decades of practical husbandry knowledge and a deep commitment to raising healthy, calm-tempered miniature cattle. Our animals thrive on large acreage pastures with access to fresh water with seasonal natural springs, receive constant handling helping to build trusting dispositions. Our calves have been showcased at livestock shows, highlighting their compact size, steady growth, and friendly nature.
These hardy, quiet miniature cattle are perfectly suited for hobby farms, small homesteads, and family properties, adding joy and manageable livestock to any setup. Calves are born and raised on-site in dedicated calving pastures and pens with fresh bedding and attentive round-the-clock monitoring during calving season.
