Wyndeway Shetland Sheepdogs breeds Shetland sheepdogs in Alexandria Bay, New York, about 90 miles north of Syracuse in the Thousand Islands region near the Saint Lawrence River. Regina Sourwine has been showing and breeding shelties for over 30 years, competing in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, and herding events through AKC, CKC, UKC, and IABCA, including at American Shetland Sheepdog Association and Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Nationals.

The program breeds in accordance with the American Shetland Sheepdog Association standard, producing both champion and performance-titled shelties. All breeding dogs are health tested for hips (OFA), eyes (CERF/OFA), MDR-1, vWD, and DMS, and every puppy receives a Volhard temperament test before placement to help match each dog to the right home, whether companion, performance, or show. Temperament is the program's foremost priority, and any dog with an unstable or difficult disposition is not incorporated into the breeding stock.

Wyndeway keeps its numbers deliberately small, typically six shelties or fewer, so each dog receives consistent individual attention. The shelties live entirely in the home as family members and enjoy daily off-leash group walks across 800 acres of fields, pastures, ponds, and forest, along with a dedicated quarter-acre fenced play yard.
