Wright's Canyon River Ranch raises alpacas in Selah, Washington, situated in the Yakima Valley about 15 miles north of Yakima. V. Wright and her husband established the property with alpacas in mind from the start, and after a decade of ownership they put that plan into motion, gradually building their herd with care and patience.
