Woodland Wagyu

Woodland Wagyu is a family-run breeder of Wagyu cattle in Ridgefield, WA, in Clark County and the Pacific Northwest near Portland. Ted Lock has raised these cattle for over a decade and follows guidelines from the American Wagyu Association to ensure regular health screenings.

Animals graze across rotating pastures with access to shelter and fresh water, and daily handling helps them grow accustomed to human care. The farm traces its roots to a countryside homestead established by the Lock family for generations. The farm’s pastures are managed to maintain soil health and a varied diet supports steady growth and marbling over their lifespan.
