Windy View Farm raises Leicester longwool sheep in Hickory, NC, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville. Windy View Farm is run by Sheila Rodatz, who brings over a decade of experience and participates in national sheep breeder associations.

The flock grazes on rotational pastures and receives daily hands-on care, with lambs handled gently from birth to encourage calm temperaments. Breeding stock undergo regular health screenings for hoof care and parasite management to support long-term hardiness. Lambs are born in a ventilated barn and move to pasture once they are steady on their feet, ensuring strong development.
