Winds of Wea

Winds of Wea, LaMancha goats, Lafayette, IN, are based in Tippecanoe County and west central Indiana near Indianapolis. Jordan Laffoon and Nikki Laffoon have been raising registered LaMancha goats for more than a decade, participating in the American Dairy Goat Association and performing regular health testing.

They maintain pasture-based herds, provide daily enrichment and gentle handling to support friendly temperaments, and milk their does in a clean, temperature-controlled parlor. Their approach emphasizes sound structure and milk production balanced with udder health, aiming to foster longevity and performance. Kids are socialized from birth, living alongside the adults and enjoying daily turnout on fresh pasture.

Hand-milking demonstrations are offered at seasonal farm tours, and feedback often highlights the farm’s transparency and warmth. Their herd includes multiple champions and first fresheners often excel in local fair competitions. Visitors note a calm atmosphere and attentive care throughout each stage of growth.
