Windkiss Ranch

Windkiss Ranch raises Gypsy Vanner horses across two Florida properties in Vero Beach, on Florida's Treasure Coast about 90 miles north of Miami. Janet Jansen and her family have grown the program from a starting herd of two horses to more than twenty since first discovering the breed in Florida in 2017.

The ranch operates across more than 130 combined acres, with its Vero Beach facilities split between a dedicated stallion barn and a separate mare and foal barn. The stallion side includes large paddocks, an outdoor dressage arena, a carriage driving obstacle course, and over a mile of riding track. The mare barn features lush open pastures and a foal barn designed to support the breeding side of the operation.

The program selects for temperament, trainability, dynamic movement, and correct conformation, with the ranch's breeding stallions standing at stud to purebred Gypsy mares. Windkiss has accumulated multiple national championship titles in competition and participates in shows across the country.
