Willowlake Aussies

Willowlake Aussies is a breeder of Australian shepherds in Sandersville, GA, Washington County and central Georgia near Macon. Owner Heather Smith has been involved in breeding for more than ten years and follows guidelines from the Australian Shepherd Club of America, including health screening for hips and eyes. Her dogs live indoors as part of the family and enjoy daily outings in nearby pastures. All breeding adults undergo regular veterinary checkups and live with children and other household pets.

Puppies receive early socialization and are exposed to varied sounds and gentle handling from the first weeks. The kennels sit on a small farm where each dog learns basic herding cues alongside family life. Several adults from past litters have gone on to therapy visits at local clinics or competed in performance events. Puppies leave home with detailed health records and guidance for their new families.
