Whispering Pines Kennels

Whispering Pines Kennels, German shorthaired pointers, Granada, Minnesota, in Martin County and southwest Minnesota near Mankato. Mark Lemon has been breeding pointers for over a decade and maintains membership with the American Kennel Club and the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America.

All puppies receive health screenings for hips, elbows and eyes, and they are raised inside a family home with climate-controlled whelping rooms. From an early age they enjoy daily exposure to varied terrain on the kennel’s wooded property, with socialization alongside children, other dogs and quiet household routines. The adjacent fenced fields give young dogs room to develop natural pointing instincts under supervised training.

Recent graduates have won local field trials and settled comfortably into active families across the region. Mark often works one-on-one with families to match each puppy’s energy level to their lifestyle.
