Westpark Alpacas

Westpark Alpacas raises alpacas on a 12-acre farm in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, in Butler County, roughly an hour north of Pittsburgh. Patrick and Christine Scheer started the farm in 2006, building their herd from a foundation group of five animals and eventually growing it to one of the more active operations in the region.

The Scheers participate in the Alpaca Owners Association and have taken part in the national show circuit, gaining hands-on experience with conformation, fiber quality, and herd management.
