Uinta Alpaca

Uinta Alpaca, alpacas, Willard, UT, is located in Box Elder County near Ogden. Robert Radtke and Suzie Radtke have been raising alpacas for over a decade and their herd is registered with the Alpaca Owners Association, undergoing regular health screenings. Their operation includes a dedicated breeding barn with separate paddocks for seniors, crias and weanlings.

Animals enjoy spacious pastures with shelter available year-round, along with daily socialization and gentle handling. They maintain a spectrum of fleece colors, from classic whites and browns to rare greys and blacks, skirted and graded on site for consistent quality.

Crias are gently introduced to halter training to prepare them for fleece shows and therapy visits. One local fiber artist noted the herd’s calm demeanor during shearing, reflecting the herd’s trustful rapport. Their approach fosters healthy, sociable alpacas well-suited for both fiber work and public engagement.
