Triple Diamonds Alpaca Ranch

Triple Diamonds Alpaca Ranch raises huacaya alpacas in Howell, Michigan, about 45 minutes west of Detroit in Livingston County. Kathy Aksten founded the ranch in April 2007, starting with three carefully chosen females before steadily growing the herd through a consistent focus on bloodlines, fleece characteristics, and conformation.

Each breeding decision at the ranch is guided by those same standards, with the herd built around highly sought bloodlines and animals selected for desirable fleece traits and sound structure. One of the ranch's herdsires, Castellanos, earned the title of 2016 Supreme National Champion, reflecting the caliber of genetics the program pursues.

Those looking for alpacas for sale in Michigan will find the ranch maintains an active roster of huacaya bred females, open females, and males. Triple Diamonds also operates a boutique in nearby Brighton that carries alpaca fiber clothing and accessories, connecting the fiber side of the ranch's work to the broader community.
