Travelers Rest Farm

Travelers Rest Farm raises Scottish Highland cattle in Dawson, AL, serving Dekalb County and the Tennessee Valley near Huntsville. With more than a decade of experience, it applies recognized breed standards through membership in the American Highland Cattle Association and follows recommended health screening protocols for parent stock. Its herd grazes on locally grown forage with rotational pasture practices, supplemented with natural minerals to support coat quality.

Owners Mike Harper and Pat Harper oversee daily care with a focus on low-stress handling and natural calving in open pasture.
