Traditions Farm raises Soay sheep in Corvallis, Montana, situated in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana, roughly an hour south of Missoula. Askjel and Birte Urweg manage the farm and its flock of this rare, ancient breed, which remains uncommon in North America.

The sheep at Traditions Farm are raised on organic, bio-active pasture supplemented with organic hay and grains. Both breeding ewes and rams are kept, with the flock maintained to offer Soay sheep for sale in Montana to those interested in starting or expanding a conservation flock.
