TLC Westies raises AKC-registered west highland white terriers in Dunnellon, Florida, a small city in Marion County about an hour north of Tampa. Terry Chaloupecky's connection to the breed traces back to her mother-in-law, Flo, who introduced her to Westies and whose dogs became the foundation of the program.

All of the westies at TLC Westies are AKC registered, and the program places particular emphasis on clean bloodlines — Terry notes no history of atopic dermatitis, Westie lung, Westie jaw, or shaker dog syndrome in her lines.
