Tanglewood Farm

Tanglewood Farm raises alpacas in Fayetteville, Ohio, a rural community in Brown County situated roughly 40 miles east of Cincinnati. Christiane Rudolf has operated the farm since 2003, growing the herd from its original four animals into a colorful group of huacaya alpacas registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc.

The farm takes a small-scale, hands-on approach to raising alpacas for sale in Ohio, with a herd that spans a wide range of natural colors. Fiber quality is central to the program, and the fleece is put to use in an on-site farm store that carries handmade goods including yarn, scarves, socks, hats, and dryer balls — products that Christiane also brings to regional farmers markets.
