T Bar C Farm

T Bar C Farm raises LaMancha dairy goats in Livingston, Texas, in the Piney Woods region of East Texas, roughly an hour north of Houston. Cheryl Lloyd started the farm in December 2015 after a practical need for goat milk prompted the family to explore dairy breeds, and a pair of LaMancha does quickly set the direction for the whole operation.

The farm holds dual registrations with both the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and the American Goat Society (AGS), and participates in DHIR milk testing and Linear Appraisal to formally track production and conformation. Those records inform a program focused on animals that perform in both the show ring and the milk pail rather than one goal alone. Nubians and Nigerian dwarfs round out the herd alongside the LaMancha goats for sale in Texas that the farm is best known for.

Health management is a clear priority. All breeding-age animals are tested annually for CAE, CL, and Johne's disease, and the herd maintains a clean status for all three. Parasite control follows a FAMACHA and fecal-based protocol that limits chemical dewormers to situations where they are truly needed. Kids are raised on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk, handled from birth, and kept until weaning at twelve weeks before leaving the farm.
