Swiss Valley Pups

Swiss Valley Pups raises Bernese mountain dogs and Rottweilers in Sugarcreek, Ohio, in Tuscarawas County about 30 miles south of Canton. Myron Yoder runs the program and has built a reputation for keeping puppies well-socialized and attentive to each placement before they leave for their new homes.

At least one parent dog in the program, a Rottweiler female named Sage, is AKC registered and has been genetically tested clear on five health panels. Puppies receive vet-recorded shot histories before going home, and Myron has been known to follow up with new owners after placement to make sure the adjustment goes smoothly.

Families searching for Bernese mountain dog or Rottweiler puppies in Ohio have come from as far as Maryland to pick up dogs in person, and the program has shipped puppies across the country as well. Both breeds are offered out of the same Sugarcreek location.
