Sugarland Alpaca Ranch

Sugarland Alpaca Ranch alpacas in Durango, Iowa, are raised on a family farm in Jackson County and the Driftless Area near Dubuque. Owner Aaron Konrardy has been caring for these gentle fiber animals for over a decade, with membership in the Alpaca Owners Association and routine health screenings to ensure strong genetics. Planned breeding pairs are selected for fleece density and temperament, resulting in a herd known for soft fiber and calm disposition. Each alpaca lives in pasture-based barns with daily turnout and social enrichment among the herd.
