Stillmeadow Farm

Stillmeadow Farm raises huacaya alpacas in Bend, Oregon, set against the high desert landscape of Central Oregon east of the Cascades. Owner Pamela Brewster brings a long history with livestock to the alpaca program — the Brewster family operated Stillmeadow for decades as an equestrian operation, brokering warmblood sport horses and thoroughbreds, including animals that competed at the Olympic level.

After transitioning away from horses, Brewster turned her attention to alpacas, building a herd on the farm's foundation of traditional, animal-centered husbandry. The operation originally took root in Stonington, Connecticut before relocating to Bend in March 2020. The farm maintains both dams and herdsires, with huacaya animals making up the core of the herd.
