Snoffirg Kennel

Snoffirg Kennel is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon breeder in Caldwell, ID, Canyon County in southwestern Idaho near Boise. Doug Davidson has dedicated many years to the breed, ensuring each dog meets recommended health standards through hip evaluations, eye exams and cardiac screenings, and participating in national breed club programs.

Puppies are raised in a family setting, handled daily indoors and introduced to a secure fenced yard to encourage early socialization, independence and confidence. Adult dogs enjoy regular training sessions and gentle exercise along nearby trails, reflecting a philosophy that balances mental stimulation with the breed’s natural hunting instincts. The kennel began on a small homestead and has since built a reputation for sound temperament and reliable hunting ability across the region.
