Skyfarm

Skyfarm raises Scottish Highland cattle in Cincinnati, OH, in southwestern Ohio near Louisville. Its owner, Stephen Joffe, has been dedicated to breeding these hardy cattle for more than fifteen years, and Skyfarm is a member of the American Highland Cattle Association with routine health screenings for all livestock. The herd grazes on open pastures with rotational grazing practices that support soil health and allow calves to develop natural foraging skills.

Each animal enjoys daily interaction with family members and gentle handling to encourage calm temperaments. Animals reside in spacious shelters during winter months, with bedding and ventilation designed for comfort. The farm’s balanced approach to traditional husbandry and animal welfare has earned Skyfarm a reputation for robust, well-socialized cattle suited for sustainable beef production.

Bloodlines are selected for ease of calving and maternal instincts. Calves remain with their dams for proper early development.
