Sixteen Peaks raises fullblood Akaushi cattle in Louisville, Tennessee, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, about 20 miles south of Knoxville. Founded in 2017, the operation focuses on pure Akaushi genetics serving ranchers and producers across the Eastern United States.

All bulls offered by Sixteen Peaks carry verified fullblood Akaushi bloodlines, with DNA certification through the American Akaushi Association. In addition to live cattle, the program makes frozen genetics available in the form of semen and embryos, giving buyers across the region access to Akaushi cattle for sale in Tennessee without geographic limitations. The team's stated focus is expanding awareness and availability of quality Akaushi genetics throughout the Eastern U.S. market.
