Sie Sutter Suri Alpaca, LLC raises suri alpacas in Maysville, Kentucky, a small river city in the northeastern corner of the state, roughly an hour east of Cincinnati, Ohio. The operation is co-owned by Susan Feil and Dawn Browning, whose interest in the breed took root around 2012 after Dawn retired and the two began researching the differences between huacaya and suri alpacas.

From the start, they chose to focus exclusively on suris, drawn to the breed's distinctive flowing fleece. They purchased a starter herd of five females in late 2012 and have since grown the herd to around 40 animals through selective acquisitions and crias born on the farm. The program is agisted, meaning day-to-day care is handled by a dedicated team on the ground who serve both as caretakers and mentors.

Sie Sutter Suri Alpaca is an active participant in the alpaca show circuit, where Dawn regularly represents the herd.
