Sherman Creek Farm

Sherman Creek Farm raises Nigerian dwarf and mini alpine goats on Vashon Island, Washington, with owner Karie Sherman tending the herd alongside her work as a Pacific Northwest artist and farmer. The farm sits on Vashon Island in Puget Sound, accessible by ferry from the West Seattle area, and operates as a sustainable dairy operation.

The program produces animals suited for show, home creamery use, and pet homes. The herd has included MDGA-shown animals, and the farm has participated in MDGA events. Dairy girls from the farm have been placed in commercial creameries as well as family homesteads. Karie has sourced stock from established regional breeders, including animals from top-ten milking lines in the Nigerian dwarf herd. Farm visits are by appointment, and the property has offered classes and events alongside its goat program.
