Shenandoah Schnauzers raises miniature schnauzers in Waynesboro, Virginia, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, roughly 30 minutes south of Harrisonburg. The program is run by Janeice and Ken Raiche, a family with deep roots in the breed.

The Raiches first bred miniature schnauzers from 1995 to 2005, then returned to the breed after a years-long pause, bringing that original experience back to their program.
