Serendipity Farm & Sanctuary - Alpacas & Llamas

Serendipity Farm & Sanctuary raises alpacas and llamas in Lanark, Ontario, situated in the Lanark Highlands region about an hour southwest of Ottawa. The farm is run by Keith Adam and operates as both a working camelid farm and a rescue sanctuary, providing a permanent home for alpacas, llamas, and guanacos in need of safe, long-term care.

The herd includes huacaya alpacas in a wide range of colours and fibre types, with animals described for traits such as fibre density, staple length, micron count, and conformation. Alpaca for sale in Ontario from this farm come from a herd that spans proven herdsires, junior males, and females bred on-site. Llamas on the property include Argentine lines, some of which have come to the farm through re-homing arrangements.

Beyond the animals themselves, the sanctuary also serves as a camelid education and experience centre, welcoming visitors for guided tours and llama treks. A farm store carries alpaca and llama fibre products made from the farm's own animals, all produced in Canada.
